About Kat

Kat Pond (PPGDip) is a dedicated and passionate strengths-based autism practitioner, committed to raising awareness and fostering understanding of autism through a unique and empowering approach. Based in Madley, Hereford, Kat leverages her deep knowledge and personal experience to champion the strengths and capabilities of individuals on the autism spectrum.

Kat’s strengths-based approach focuses on identifying and nurturing the inherent talents and abilities of autistic individuals. She believes that every person has unique strengths that, when recognised and supported, can lead to greater self-esteem, independence, and fulfilment. Kat collaborates with families, educators, and other professionals to create supportive environments that recognise and celebrate the strengths of autistic individuals.

Kat’s ultimate goal is to change the narrative around autism from one of deficits to one of strengths and possibilities. Through her work and advocacy, she strives to create a world where autistic individuals are seen, heard, and valued for who they truly are.

Kat is always eager to connect with individuals and organisations interested in promoting a strengths-based approach to autism. Whether through collaborative projects, speaking engagements, or personal consultations, she welcomes the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of autistic individuals and their communities.
